How to Use a YouBiz Referral Code in Singapore (2026): Step-by-Step Guide
Table of Contents
YouBiz, the business account from the YouTrip team, pays S$50 to new businesses that sign up with a referral code. The only thing you have to do after approval is make one card purchase of S$5 or more.
For a small business, that is about as easy as a sign-up bonus gets. There is no deposit target and no monthly spend.
The detail is in the conditions. The S$5 has to be a single transaction. It has to happen within 90 days of account approval. And only the first 10 new users per referral code get the S$50.
This guide walks through how to use the DLCuration YouBiz referral code, YOUp9l3U4Jw: how to apply, when the 90 days start, and what to buy with the card.

Why Most People Use a YouBiz Referral Code Wrong
YouBiz is a multi-currency business account and corporate card. Many people search for it as “YouTrip Business”.
Here are the mistakes I see most often:
- Typing the code wrong. YOUp9l3U4Jw is case-sensitive, and the character after the 9 is a lowercase L, not a capital I. The sign-up link fills it in for you.
- Splitting the S$5. Two S$3 purchases do not count. YouBiz’s rule is a minimum of S$5 in one transaction.
- Waiting too long. The 90 days start when your account is approved, not when you apply.
- Applying without the code. YouBiz’s Help Centre says the code is entered during sign-up. It does not describe a way to add it afterwards.
The principle the whole process is built on: apply through the link, then make one S$5 purchase soon after approval.
What You Need Before You Start
Set aside about 10 minutes for the application. Have these ready:
- The YouBiz referral code YOUp9l3U4Jw. Or use the YouBiz sign-up link, which applies it for you.
- A business operating in Singapore. YouBiz screens every application, and some industries are not accepted.
- Singpass (MyInfo Business), or documents. Singpass is the fastest route. To apply manually, you need an ACRA Business Profile dated within the last three months and a photo of your NRIC or another accepted ID. A signed authorisation letter is needed if you are not a director.
- A first business purchase of S$5 or more. Software, office supplies or a subscription you already pay for.
Your business must be new to YouBiz. A personal YouTrip account does not affect this.
The Full Process: Step by Step
Step 1 — Open the YouBiz Sign-Up Link (1 minute)
Open the sign-up link. It takes you to YouBiz’s registration page with the code already filled in.
→ Open the YouBiz sign-up link
If you register at biz.you.co yourself, paste YOUp9l3U4Jw into the referral code field.
What you end up with: a YouBiz application with the code applied.
Step 2 — Apply for Your Business Account (5 minutes)
Apply with Singpass (MyInfo Business), which takes under five minutes. Or upload your ACRA Business Profile and ID manually.
What you end up with: a submitted application.
Step 3 — Wait for Approval (1 to 2 business days)
YouBiz emails you within one to two business days. Your 90-day window for the qualifying card spend starts on the approval date.
What you end up with: an approved YouBiz account, and the 90-day clock running.
Step 4 — Make One Card Purchase of S$5 or More (2 minutes)
Use your YouBiz card for one purchase of at least S$5, or the equivalent in another currency, in a single transaction. Virtual cards are ready straight away. A physical card, if you ordered one, arrives in five to seven working days.
Several smaller purchases do not add up. Make the S$5 one payment.
What you end up with: the qualifying spend done.
Step 5 — Watch for the S$50 Referral Credit (up to a month)
YouBiz credits the S$50 automatically to your default SGD sub-account. It shows in your transactions as a referral credit.
YouBiz’s own example: a S$5 spend on 25 March is credited after 25 March and no later than 25 April.
What you end up with: S$50 in your business account.
The Full Time and Reward Breakdown
| Step | What You Do | Time | Counts Toward the S$50? |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Open the sign-up link | 1 minute | Yes — applies the code |
| 2 | Apply with Singpass | 5 minutes | Yes — the application |
| 3 | Wait for approval | 1–2 business days | Starts the 90 days |
| 4 | One S$5 card purchase | 2 minutes | Yes — the qualifying spend |
| 5 | Wait for the credit | Up to a month | Reward |
Total: about 10 minutes of your time. The value is S$50, paid to your business.
What to Buy for the S$5
YouBiz’s Help Centre does not say whether its cashback exclusions also apply to the referral spend. Its cashback excludes payments such as tax, government, education, insurance, investment, wallet top-ups and buy-now-pay-later.
To be safe, make the S$5 an ordinary merchant purchase:
- A software subscription, such as cloud storage or design tools
- Office supplies from an online store
- A domain renewal or web hosting
Avoid paying a government agency, topping up a wallet or paying a bill through an aggregator for the qualifying spend.
Is the YouBiz Referral Worth It? Three Realistic Examples
The freelancer with subscriptions. You pay S$20 a month for design software. You open YouBiz with the code, move the subscription to the virtual card, and the first charge qualifies. S$50 lands within a month.
The slow starter. You get approved, then forget about the account for four months. The 90-day window has closed, and the S$50 is gone.
The latecomer. You sign up after the code’s 10 places are used. Your account still works, but there is no S$50.
The reward does not change what YouBiz is. If your business pays overseas suppliers or spends in foreign currencies, the account itself is the main draw. The S$50 is a bonus.
What the Referral Code Cannot Do
It cannot be added after sign-up. YouBiz’s Help Centre describes entering the code during registration only. If you applied without it, contact youbiz.help@you.co before you assume it can be fixed.
It does not count split purchases. The S$5 must be one transaction.
It does not wait forever. The window is 90 days from approval.
It is not unlimited. Only the first 10 new users per referral code receive the S$50.
Is YouBiz Safe? What the Code Does Not Change
Using a referral code has no effect on how your money is held. YouBiz is operated by You Technologies Group (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore as a major payment institution.
YouBiz is not a bank. Customer money is held in segregated accounts with banks including DBS, Standard Chartered, OCBC and Deutsche Bank, but balances are not covered by SDIC deposit insurance. This is not financial advice.
Tips to Get the Most From the YouBiz Referral
Use the link, not the typed code. It avoids the lowercase L problem.
Make the S$5 purchase the week you are approved. There is no reason to wait.
Use the virtual card. It is ready immediately, so you do not need to wait for a physical card.
Apply soon. The 10-user limit is first come, first served.
What If Your Business Already Has YouBiz?
The S$50 is for businesses that are new to YouBiz. An existing account cannot add a referral.
You can still earn the other way round: share your own referral code from the YouBiz app.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I use the YouBiz referral code?
Open the YouBiz sign-up link, or enter YOUp9l3U4Jw in the referral code field when you register at biz.you.co. Once your business account is approved, make one card purchase of S$5 or more within 90 days. YouBiz credits S$50 to your default SGD sub-account.
Is YouTrip Business the same as YouBiz?
Yes. YouBiz is the business account and corporate card from the YouTrip team. It is separate from the personal YouTrip app, and you can have both.
Does the YouBiz S$5 spend have to be one purchase?
Yes. YouBiz’s rule is a minimum of S$5 in a single transaction. Several smaller purchases do not add up.
When is the YouBiz S$50 credited?
After your qualifying spend, and no later than about a month after it. YouBiz’s example is a spend on 25 March credited no later than 25 April. It goes to your default SGD sub-account.
Is the YouBiz referral code case-sensitive?
Yes. Type it exactly as YOUp9l3U4Jw, with a lowercase L after the 9. The sign-up link applies it automatically, which avoids typos.
Is there a limit on the YouBiz referral reward?
Yes. The S$50 is limited to the first 10 new users who complete the qualifying spend through each referral code.
Final Thoughts
The YouBiz referral is S$50 for a 10-minute application and one S$5 purchase. For a small business, that is close to free money.
Get the order right: apply through the link, get approved, then make one S$5 card purchase in the first week. Apply soon, because each code only covers 10 businesses.
