These are the sign-up offers and earning routes I track that actually end up as KrisFlyer miles. Rates and end dates below were checked on 12 Oct 2026; each guide has the full terms.
Trust Freedom card: 1.3 miles per S$1
- Trust Miles convert 1:1 to KrisFlyer (S$27.25 per transfer, so batch your conversions).
- New-to-Trust cardholders in Miles mode can earn up to 100,000 Max Miles (S$1,000, S$5,000 and S$15,000 spend tiers within 31 days). Apply by 31 Oct 2026.
- The bonus is paid in Max Miles, which reach KrisFlyer at about 0.83 (see HeyMax below).
HeyMax: Max Miles on everyday spending
- Earn Max Miles on online shopping, dining and travel bookings, then pick the programme to convert into.
- KrisFlyer is an indirect route: Max Miles to yuu Points to KrisFlyer nets about 0.83 miles per Max Mile.
- Max Miles Day (the 25th) sometimes adds milesback that narrows the gap.
Kris+: KrisPay miles that move to KrisFlyer
- Miles you earn by spending transfer to KrisFlyer 1:1 within 21 days.
- October 2026 Birthday Bash: 8 miles per SGD 1 at 70 partners until 31 Oct.
- The SGD 5 welcome reward (500 KrisPay miles) stays inside Kris+ and cannot move to KrisFlyer.
amaze: InstaPoints into KrisFlyer
- InstaPoints convert at 3 points per mile (minimum 1,200 points, so 400 miles).
- The same 2,000 points can be taken as S$25 cashback, which beats 666 miles unless you value a mile above about 3.8 cents.
- Check the rate in the Instarem app before converting; it has changed before.

How Many KrisFlyer Miles Do You Need From Singapore?
The cheapest Singapore Airlines award is 8,000 miles one-way in Economy Saver to Kuala Lumpur or Bali. A one-way Business Saver to London is 108,500 miles. Here are the Saver prices for the destinations people search for most, with the Advantage Business price alongside.

Saver vs Advantage vs Access Awards
The three award types trade miles for availability. Saver is the cheapest and the hardest to find. Access is the most expensive and the easiest to find.

Roughly 1.3 to 2.1 times Saver. No Premium Economy. Useful when your dates are fixed and Saver is gone.

Priced above Advantage and reset by Singapore Airlines at will. Sometimes worse value than paying cash.

Each stopover can last up to 30 days. Paid stopovers on award tickets were withdrawn from 1 August 2022. Check the "add stopover" step at booking, because terms can change.

If you were holding miles for a specific trip, the practical effect of the November 2025 chart is that premium cabins on long routes cost noticeably more, and the gap between Saver and Advantage widened. This calculator uses the post-change chart throughout.
Are KrisFlyer Miles Worth It?
It depends on the cabin. Divide the cash fare by the miles to get a value per mile before taxes. Two sample fares quoted by The MileLion in March 2026 show the spread:

The pattern holds across the chart: long-haul Business and Suites give the most value, while short-haul Economy often costs less in cash than the miles are worth. If you are choosing where to point a limited balance, start with a premium cabin to Japan, Australia or Europe.
How to Earn More KrisFlyer Miles Without Flying
Most Singapore balances are built from card spending, shopping portals and everyday payment apps. This table compares the routes I cover on DLCuration, plus Singapore Airlines' own shopping and travel partners.

Miles earned from a sign-up bonus often have different rules from spend miles. Read each guide before you apply, because a bonus can be locked inside an app.
What S$15,000 on the Trust Freedom card is worth in KrisFlyer terms
Until 31 Oct 2026, a new Trust cardholder in Miles mode who spends S$15,000 within 31 days of approval earns 19,500 base miles (1.3 per S$1) plus 100,000 Max Miles. At about 0.83 KrisFlyer miles per Max Mile, that is roughly 102,500 KrisFlyer-equivalent miles.
On the Saver chart, that covers a return Economy ticket to London (88,000), or a one-way Business to Sydney (72,000) plus one-way Economy to Tokyo (25,500).
Caveats: you must be new to Trust credit cards and apply by 31 Oct 2026, some spend does not count (education, utilities, insurance and government payments, among others), and Saver seats on your dates are not guaranteed. The Trust Bank referral code guide has the full conditions.
Which route fits which spender
- Everyday and overseas card spend: the Trust Freedom card in Miles mode, because there is no FX fee and no cap.
- Eating out and local retail: pay through Kris+ at partner outlets, and stack a card on top where the partner allows it.
- Online shopping and bookings: go through HeyMax, or KrisShop and Pelago for Singapore Airlines' own earn rates.
- Small leftover balances: amaze InstaPoints, but compare the cashback value first.
Two rules protect your balance. Check Saver space before you convert anything, because transfers between programmes cannot be reversed. And batch your transfers where a flat fee applies, since S$27.25 on 5,000 miles costs about 0.55 cents a mile and on 50,000 miles about 0.05 cents.
