The catch is simple: Trip.com lets you use one promo code per booking. So the question is never “which codes can I collect”, but “which one code saves the most on this trip”.

If you are new to Trip.com, start with the S$68 new user welcome pack. It is a set of promo codes for flights, hotels and more, and you only get it by signing up with a referral code. If you already have an account, the bank card days usually beat everything else.

New Trip.com users who sign up with a referral code get a welcome pack worth S$68. It arrives as a set of promo codes in your account, for flights, hotels and other products, to use on your first bookings in the app.

Trip.com does not publish the breakdown. Each code shows its own value, minimum spend and expiry under Account › Promo Codes once you have signed up.

How to Claim the S$68 Pack

Open the referral link on your phone first, before you install the Trip.com app. Trip.com says the code must be shared before the friend installs the app.
Install the app and register a new account with email, Google, Apple or Facebook. If a referral code field appears, enter UABGHT.
Check Account › Promo Codes. The welcome pack codes should be there right away.
Book in the app. The best eligible code applies itself at checkout. You can swap it under Promo codes.

Who Doesn’t Get the Pack

Anyone with an existing Trip.com account, even an old one.
Anyone who registers first and adds the code later. The referral is not recognised after sign-up.
A phone number, email or device already used on another account. Trip.com flags shared emails, IP addresses and devices.
Bookings paid at the hotel. The codes are for prepaid bookings.

Trip.com’s own promo blog describes the friend reward as S$20 in hotel promo codes, while the referral page says S$68. The pack shown in your account is what counts, so check it before you plan a booking around it.

These public new user offers sit alongside the welcome pack. Because only one code works per booking, compare them at checkout.

For an existing user, the bank card days are usually the biggest saving. Codes drop at 12pm on the day and run out fast.

The DBS/POSB Monday deal is the strongest on paper: two Economy tickets at half price, up to S$200 off.

YouTrip Mega Travel Day: 20% Back on Trip.com Hotels

On 1 November and 1 December 2026, YouTrip pays 20% cashback on Trip.com hotels, 15% on car rentals and transfers, 10% on day tours and 5% on flights, with no cap. You book through the Perks tab in the YouTrip app and pay with the YouTrip card.

This is cashback from YouTrip, not a Trip.com code, so it can sit on top of a Trip.com promo code. Check the YouTrip deal’s terms before you book. The details are on my YouTrip promo page.

Save the code first: in the app, go to Account › Promo Codes and add it. Saved codes apply themselves at checkout.

Check the price drops before you pay. If two codes qualify, Trip.com picks the best one, but you can switch.

Trip Coins are separate from promo codes. You can use them alongside a code on prepaid bookings, and the booking page shows how much they take off.

Is Trip.com Safe to Book With?

Trip.com is one of the largest online travel agencies in the world and is the top travel app on Singapore’s App Store. Bookings in Singapore are handled by Trip.com Travel Singapore Pte. Ltd.

The usual rule for travel promos applies: read the cancellation policy before you pay. Cancelling a booking can cancel the promo code with it, and some discounted fares are non-refundable.

For a new user, yes. The S$68 pack costs nothing and covers your first flight or hotel. Sign up through the referral link before you install the app, or you lose it.

For an existing user, plan bookings around the card days. A DBS Monday or HSBC Thursday code beats the weekend sale by a wide margin, and YouTrip’s 20% hotel cashback on 1 November and 1 December is worth waiting for.
