uSMART Promo Code October 2026: Every Tier, Voucher and Catch
Table of Contents
uSMART advertises up to S$2,000 in welcome rewards for new Singapore users. That headline is real, but almost nobody reads how it is paid.
It is not one reward. It is six monthly vouchers, one per calendar month. Each month you have to hold your deposit tier and make a set number of trades. Miss a month and that month’s voucher is gone for good.
That structure makes the uSMART promo one of the most generous broker offers in Singapore at the S$2,000 tier — and one of the easiest to lose by accident.
I check uSMART’s welcome offer every month and update this page. Below is every tier for October 2026, what it really pays after trading costs, and the rules that cancel a month.
The uSMART promo code is 9smd. It goes into the referral field when you register, and it cannot be added afterwards.

uSMART Promo Tiers: What Each Deposit Pays
You choose one deposit tier. Each tier pays one voucher per calendar month, for up to six months.
| Deposit | Trades Per Month | Monthly Voucher | Six-Month Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| S$1,000 | 2 | S$6 | S$36 |
| S$2,000 | 3 | S$30 | S$180 |
| S$10,000 | 5 | S$50 | S$300 |
| S$100,000 | 8 | S$200 | S$1,200 |
| S$500,000 | 10 | S$330 | S$1,980 |
Add the TSLA share voucher and up to S$14 in starter vouchers, and the maximum comes to just under S$2,000 plus the share.
How uSMART Measures Your Deposit
This is the rule that catches people out. The uSMART terms on my referral page say your 30-day daily average assets must be at or above the tier, and your assets on day 30 must also meet it.
So a deposit that arrives halfway through the month, or a withdrawal on day 29, can cost you that month’s voucher even if your average looks fine.
The Monthly Trade Rule
Each month you redeem, you need the set number of trades. A qualifying trade only has to be worth S$0.01, but cancelled or ineligible orders do not count. Trades do not carry over: six trades in one month do not cover the next.
What the uSMART Promo Really Costs
The vouchers are generous. The trades are not free.
uSMART charges US$0 commission on US stocks, but a fixed platform fee of about US$0.88 to US$1 per US trade (sources list both figures). SG trades cost 0.02% of trade value.
Here is the S$2,000 tier over six months, assuming US trades at roughly US$1 each:
- Vouchers: S$30 × 6 = S$180
- Platform fees: 3 trades × 6 months × about S$1.30 = about S$23
- Net: about S$157 on S$2,000 — roughly 7.8% over six months
That is the best value in the table. The S$10,000 tier nets about S$260 after roughly S$39 in fees. The S$500,000 tier pays S$1,980 for 60 trades, which is under 0.4% on the money.
If you were not going to trade every month anyway, budget the fees before you start.
Starter Vouchers and the TSLA Share
Tesla share voucher. Open a Standard or Intel account and you unlock a 0.02 TSLA fractional share voucher, worth about US$8 depending on Tesla’s price. Redeem it before its validity runs out.
Starter vouchers. Seven small vouchers, mostly S$2 each, for first actions: your first deposit, a US options or fractional share trade, a SMART Order or SMART Plan, upgrading to Intel and holding it a month, and trading FX, gold, virtual assets or US stock CFDs. Together they are worth up to S$14.
Skip the ones that push you into products you do not understand. S$2 is not a reason to trade CFDs.
Partner Offers From Other Sites
Comparison sites sometimes add their own gift for opening uSMART through their link. SingSaver offered S$150 cash for a S$1,000 deposit held 30 days, but only from 19 to 25 October 2026.
These gifts change every week, and you register through one link only. If a partner gift is running when you sign up, compare it against the welcome offer and check whether its terms let you enter a referral code as well.
uSMART Promo Terms and Who Doesn’t Qualify
- Previous uSMART customers, in Singapore or any other uSMART Group entity.
- Trader account holders. Only Standard and Intel accounts qualify.
- Anyone who misses a month. The voucher for that month is forfeited and cannot be claimed later.
- Anyone relying on a top-up mid-month. The 30-day average decides it, not the balance on one day.
Vouchers are redeemed in the app under Me → Rewards Centre, one per calendar month. My referral page notes that uSMART states different crediting times in different places (two and five working days), so allow a week before you chase support.
Is uSMART Safe?
uSMART Securities (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. holds a Capital Markets Services licence from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (CMS101161). It is a brokerage, not a bank, so your cash and shares are not covered by SDIC deposit insurance.

Is the uSMART Promo Worth It?
At S$2,000, yes. About S$157 net over six months is one of the best returns on a small deposit of any Singapore broker promo this month — as long as you will actually log in and make three trades every month.
At S$10,000, it is still good. Above that, the trades and the lock-up start to outweigh the reward, and other brokers pay more for the same money. Compare it with the Webull promo and the Tiger Brokers promo before moving six figures.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the uSMART promo code for October 2026?
The uSMART promo code is 9smd. Enter it in the referral field when you register in the uSMART SG app, before you submit. It unlocks the welcome offer: six monthly deposit vouchers worth up to S$1,980, a 0.02 TSLA share voucher and up to S$14 in starter vouchers.
How much can I get from the uSMART promo?
Up to S$1,980 in deposit vouchers at the S$500,000 tier, paid as S$330 a month for six months, plus the TSLA share and starter vouchers. The most popular tier is S$2,000, which pays S$30 a month, or S$180 over six months, for three trades a month.
Can I add the uSMART referral code after signing up?
No. The code must be entered during registration, and uSMART does not allow it to be added once the account is created. If you have already registered without it, you are not eligible for the referral welcome offer.
What happens if I miss a month?
You lose that month’s voucher. Each month is assessed on its own, using your 30-day average assets, your day-30 assets and the number of trades. You can still claim the remaining months if you meet the conditions again.
Does uSMART charge fees on the trades I need for the promo?
US stock trades have no commission but carry a fixed platform fee of about US$0.88 to US$1 per order. SG stock trades cost 0.02% of the trade value. At the S$2,000 tier, expect around S$23 in platform fees over six months against S$180 in vouchers.
Who is not eligible for the uSMART promo?
Anyone with a current or previous account at uSMART SG or any uSMART Group entity, and anyone who opens a Trader account instead of a Standard or Intel account. Each person can claim the welcome offer once.
Final Verdict
The uSMART promo pays well at the low tiers, as long as you treat it as a six-month commitment rather than a sign-up bonus.
- Best for: new investors with S$2,000 to S$10,000 who will make a few US trades every month anyway.
- Watch out for: the 30-day average rule and the monthly trade count. Set a calendar reminder for the first week of each month.
- Skip it if: you want a one-off reward without monthly trading, or you are moving S$100,000 or more.
Which tier are you going for? Tell me in the comments, and whether the monthly trades feel worth it.
