Chocolate Finance Promo Code October 2026: S$15 Sign-Up and USD Boost
Table of Contents
If you are looking for a Chocolate Finance promo code, there isn’t one. The app has no code field.
The sign-up reward, S$15, comes only through a referral link, and it is not instant. You need to bring your balance to S$1,000 and keep it there for 30 days in a row. Most people who miss the reward miss it on one of those two points.
This month there is also an extra 1% p.a. on new US dollars until 31 October, and the Chocolate Card still earns miles.
I check Chocolate Finance’s offers every month and update this page. This is every Chocolate Finance promo for Singapore in October 2026, what each one is worth and how to qualify.

Chocolate Finance Referral Link: S$15 Sign-Up Reward
Chocolate Finance pays S$15 to you and S$15 to the friend who invited you once you meet three conditions:
- You sign up through a referral link and complete verification.
- Your total Chocolate balance reaches at least S$1,000. One top-up or several both count.
- You keep the balance at or above S$1,000 for 30 continuous days, counted from the day it first reaches S$1,000.
The reward goes into your Chocolate SGD account.

How to Claim the S$15
- Open the referral link on your phone first. There is no code to type later, so the link is the only thing that tracks the referral.
- Install the Chocolate Finance app and sign up with Singpass MyInfo.
- Top up to S$1,000 or more by FAST, PayNow QR or eGIRO, from a bank account in your own name. Credit cards are not accepted.
- Leave it there for 30 days. Don’t withdraw below S$1,000 during that time.
- The S$15 lands in your SGD account once the 30 days are met.
Who Doesn’t Get the S$15
- Anyone who installed the app before opening the link. You can’t add a referral afterwards.
- Anyone whose balance dips below S$1,000 during the 30 days. Chocolate’s FAQ says the referral then does not qualify.
- Non-residents and US persons. Chocolate Finance only accepts Singapore residents.
- Anyone topping up from someone else’s bank account. Those transfers are rejected.
Converting SGD to USD during the 30 days is a grey area. Chocolate doesn’t say whether USD counts toward the S$1,000, so keep at least S$1,000 in the SGD account until the reward arrives.
What the S$15 Is Worth
S$15 on S$1,000 held for 30 days is about 18% annualised, on top of the normal return. At 3% p.a., the same S$1,000 earns roughly S$2.50 in those 30 days. Small in dollars, but generous for a month of parked cash.
October USD Boost: Extra 1% p.a. (Ends 31 Oct)
From 1 to 31 October 2026, Chocolate adds an extra 1% p.a. on US dollars added above your starting balance. There is no opt-in, no minimum and no maximum.
| New USD Balance | Promotional Rate |
|---|---|
| First US$20,000 | 4.1% + 1% p.a. |
| Next US$80,000 | 3.8% + 1% p.a. |
| Above US$100,000 | Actual returns + 1% p.a. |
- New users start at US$0, so every US dollar you add in October counts as new.
- Converting SGD to USD inside the app counts.
- The bonus is paid within 7–10 business days after 31 October. It does not show in the app during October.
The boost is pro-rated, so with nine days of October left it is worth little: US$10,000 added today earns about US$2.50 of extra return. Don’t convert money to USD for this alone.
Chocolate Card and Miles for Returns
The Chocolate Card is a Visa debit card that spends from your Chocolate balance and earns Max Miles through HeyMax.
- 1 Max Mile per S$1 on eligible spend up to a monthly cap, then 0.4 Max Miles per S$1 with no cap. The FAQ gives the cap as S$1,000 in some answers and S$2,000 in others, so check the app.
- Bill payments earn miles, capped at 300 miles a calendar month.
- No annual fee, no physical card fee and no miles on transactions under S$0.50. Max Miles do not expire.
- To earn, you need an average daily SGD balance of at least S$5,000 in the previous month. USD balances don’t count.
- The card can no longer pay AXS credit card bills, and it has no ATM withdrawals.
Miles for Returns started on 1 September 2026. Eligible customers can convert the previous month’s returns into Max Miles, but only during the following calendar month. If you collect miles and don’t need the cash, it is worth checking each month in the app.
The Miles Multiplier campaign ended on 31 August 2026.
MoneySmart SmartRewards (Ends 24 Oct)
MoneySmart is running its own Chocolate Finance offer from 1 to 24 October 2026: 1,400 SmartPoints for S$10,000 or 2,800 SmartPoints for S$20,000 in fresh funds, held for 60 days. It is for new customers whose account is approved by 24 October.
Whether it stacks with a referral link is not stated, and Chocolate’s app terms forbid transactions made to “avail or qualify for or arbitrage between promotions”. If you only plan to deposit S$1,000, the referral link is the simpler route.
Ended Chocolate Finance Promotions
These come up in searches but are over:
- Birthday Booster (1 Aug–30 Sep 2026): extra 1% p.a. on up to S$20,000 of new money.
- Miles Multiplier (ended 31 Aug 2026).
- The old S$10 sign-up reward for any top-up. It is now S$15 with the S$1,000 and 30-day conditions.
Chocolate Finance Rates (October 2026)
| Account | First Tier | Next Tier |
|---|---|---|
| SGD | 3% p.a. on the first S$20,000 | 2.7% p.a. on the next S$30,000 |
| USD | 4.3% p.a. on the first US$20,000 | 4% p.a. on the next US$30,000 |
These come from Chocolate’s Top-Up Programme. They are targets, not guaranteed returns, and Chocolate’s own FAQ quotes different figures in places. There are no monthly fees, and an outperformance fee of 0–2% is taken only after the stated returns are delivered.
SGD withdrawals usually arrive the same day, with almost all within 36 hours. The contract allows up to 3 business days, or 7 in some cases.
Is Chocolate Finance Safe?
Chocolate Finance is run by Chocfin Pte Ltd, which holds a Capital Markets Services licence from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (CMS101452). Your money is invested in bond funds and held by custodians including HSBC, State Street, BNP Paribas and Citibank.
It is not a bank, so your balance is not covered by SDIC deposit insurance, and returns are not guaranteed. Treat it as a place for spare cash, not your emergency fund’s only home.
Is the Chocolate Finance Promo Worth It?
If you have S$1,000 you won’t touch for a month, yes. The S$15 is close to free money, and the cash keeps earning while you wait.
If you need the money within 30 days, skip it. A withdrawal below S$1,000 cancels the reward.
The October USD Boost is too short now to plan around. The miles are worth it only if you keep S$5,000 or more in SGD.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Chocolate Finance promo code?
There is no Chocolate Finance promo code, and the app has no code field. The sign-up reward of S$15 comes through a referral link. Open the link on your phone before installing the app, then top up to S$1,000 and keep it there for 30 continuous days.
How do I get the Chocolate Finance S$15 referral reward?
Sign up through a referral link, complete Singpass verification, bring your total balance to at least S$1,000 and keep it at or above S$1,000 for 30 continuous days. The S$15 is credited to your SGD account, and the friend who referred you also gets S$15.
Can I add a Chocolate Finance referral link after signing up?
No. The link is the only way a referral is tracked, so it must be opened before you install the app and sign up. Chocolate Finance does not offer a way to add one afterwards.
What is the Chocolate Finance October USD Boost?
From 1 to 31 October 2026, Chocolate Finance adds an extra 1% p.a. on US dollars added above your starting balance, with no opt-in or minimum. New users start at US$0. The bonus is credited within 7–10 business days after 31 October.
Does the Chocolate Card earn miles?
Yes. It earns 1 Max Mile per S$1 on eligible spend up to a monthly cap, then 0.4 Max Miles per S$1. You need an average daily SGD balance of at least S$5,000 in the previous month to earn, and bill payments are capped at 300 miles a month.
Is Chocolate Finance covered by SDIC?
No. Chocolate Finance is a MAS-licensed fund manager (CMS101452), not a bank, so balances are not protected by SDIC deposit insurance. Your money is invested in bond funds held by custodians such as HSBC and Citibank.

- This month only: new USD earns an extra 1% p.a. until 31 October.
