Cruises From Singapore 2026: Every Ship, Sailing Date and Real Cost

Four big cruise lines sail from Singapore this season. Prices start at S$49 for a one-way night to Malaysia and run past S$3,000 for a family of four on Disney.

The headline fare is rarely what you pay. Gratuities, port fees, fuel surcharges and service charges add 15% to 30%. Two of the ships bill you in US dollars once you are on board.

The line-up has also changed this year. Quantum of the Seas has left Singapore until October 2027. Star Voyager is only here for about six weeks. Disney Adventure has settled in for at least five years.

I checked every cruise ship sailing from Singapore against the cruise lines’ own pages and Klook, and worked out what each one really costs once the extras land. Here are the best cruises from Singapore in 2026.

What to Look For in a Cruise From Singapore

The all-in price. Add gratuities, taxes, port fees and surcharges before you compare. The cheapest fare is not always the cheapest trip.

Ports or no ports. A cruise to nowhere spends every day at sea. That is fine if the ship is the holiday. It is disappointing if you expected Phuket.

When the ship is here. Disney and Genting Dream sail all year. Royal Caribbean and Star Voyager are seasonal.

Which terminal. Disney, Royal Caribbean and Genting Dream leave from Marina Bay Cruise Centre. Star Voyager leaves from HarbourFront.

Refunds. Many of the cheapest fares are non-refundable or lose 30% or more if you cancel two to three months out.

Who is going. A Disney cruise is wasted on a couple without kids. A budget ship can disappoint teenagers who wanted water slides.

1. Disney Adventure — Best for Families With Young Kids

→ See Disney Adventure 3-night prices on Klook

Disney’s largest ship, with room for up to about 6,700 guests, has sailed from Marina Bay Cruise Centre since March 2026 and will stay until at least early 2031. Three-night sailings leave on Mondays and four-night sailings leave on Thursdays.

It has seven themed areas, including Marvel Landing with Ironcycle Test Run, Disney’s first roller coaster at sea. There are full-length musicals and free kids’ clubs for ages three to 17. Every 2026 sailing is a cruise to nowhere. Selected four-night sailings add a day in Langkawi from 31 December 2026.

What Disney Adventure is great at:

  • The best kids’ programme of any ship sailing from Singapore.
  • A new ship, with the coaster included in the fare.
  • Free soft drinks, coffee and tea all day.
  • Klook prices in Singapore dollars, per person, with taxes included.

Where it falls short:

  • Gratuities of US$16 per guest per night, children included.
  • No ports on most sailings and no adults-only pool.
  • Crowds and queues with up to 6,700 people on board.
  • Many of the cheapest Klook packages are non-refundable.

Pricing:

  • 3 nights, Inside cabin: from S$526.39 per person on Klook
  • 4 nights, Inside cabin: from S$637.39 per person on Klook
  • Family of four, 3 nights, all in: about S$2,800 to S$3,200

Bottom line: The best cruise from Singapore for Disney-loving kids. Couples should look elsewhere. Read my full Disney Adventure cruise review.

2. Royal Caribbean Navigator of the Seas — Best for Ports

→ See Navigator of the Seas sailings on Klook

If you were looking for Quantum of the Seas, it is in Brisbane this season and returns to Singapore on 25 October 2027. Navigator of the Seas takes its place from 29 October 2026, and Royal Caribbean has extended its stay to October 2027.

Navigator first sailed in 2002 and was refitted in 2019. It has The Blaster aqua coaster, the Riptide slide, a FlowRider surf simulator and an ice rink. Its big advantage over Disney is ports: three nights to Penang, four nights to Penang and Phuket, five nights adding Langkawi, and longer trips to Vietnam, Bangkok and Tokyo.

What Navigator is great at:

  • Real port stops on most sailings.
  • Lower lead fares than Disney.
  • Water slides and FlowRider that older kids love.
  • A full year of sailings from Singapore, with a break for Japan trips from mid-February to about May 2027.

Where it falls short:

  • An older ship, nearly 24 years old.
  • Gratuities of US$18.50 per person per day, plus taxes and port fees on top of Klook’s price.
  • Phuket is a tender port until March 2027, which cuts beach time.
  • No North Star or RipCord. Those are Quantum features.

Pricing:

  • 2-night weekend cruise to nowhere: from S$307 per person (official site, before taxes)
  • 3-night Penang: from S$300 per person
  • 4-night Penang and Phuket: from S$481 per person
  • Klook: from S$370.75 per person, before taxes
  • Couple, 4 nights, all in: about S$1,300 to S$1,900

Bottom line: The best big-ship cruise from Singapore if you want to see somewhere. Read my Royal Caribbean Singapore review for the full Quantum comparison.

3. Genting Dream — Best Cheap Cruise All Year

Genting Dream, run by Dream Cruises, sails from Marina Bay Cruise Centre all year. It is a sister ship brand to StarCruises, and both are owned by StarDream Cruises. It returned from drydock on 25 September 2026, per Cruise Industry News.

It runs two-night weekend and Kuala Lumpur cruises, three-night Penang and Phuket cruises, and five-night Bali and Lombok trips until 29 December 2026. Lead fares have ranged from about S$172 to S$299 per person, depending on the sale, according to MissLobang’s October 2026 roundup.

What Genting Dream is great at:

  • Sails all year, unlike Star Voyager.
  • Newer and larger than Star Voyager, built in 2016.
  • Some of the lowest round-trip fares from Singapore.
  • Leaves from Marina Bay Cruise Centre.

Where it falls short:

  • Not on Klook’s cruise list yet, so you book through Dream Cruises.
  • Lead fares are quoted before extras, so check the total at checkout.
  • Fewer big-ticket attractions than Disney or Royal Caribbean.

Bottom line: The default budget cruise for a weekend away at any time of year. Price it against Star Voyager in December.

4. Star Voyager — Best Cheap Year-End Cruise

→ See Star Voyager sailings on Klook

Star Voyager is the revived StarCruises brand’s ship. It is the former Dawn Princess and Pacific Explorer, built in 1997 and refitted in 2025. It sails from the Singapore Cruise Centre at HarbourFront, and only from about 20 November 2026 to 3 January 2027.

Short trips go to Port Klang, Melaka, Pulau Pangkor and Penang, with one four-night Langkawi sailing on 26 December. Meals at three restaurants are included, with a certified Halal section at the buffet.

What Star Voyager is great at:

  • Some of the lowest fares from Singapore.
  • Cheap butler-serviced Palace suites.
  • A one-way option to Port Klang if you are heading to KL anyway.
  • Halal food on board.

Where it falls short:

  • A six-week Singapore season.
  • An older ship that reviewers compare unfavourably with Genting Dream.
  • Gratuities of S$27 per person per night and a fuel surcharge that keeps changing.
  • Promo fares lose 30% if cancelled from 89 days out.

Pricing:

  • 1-night one-way to Port Klang: from S$49 (official) or S$68.59 (Klook)
  • 2-night Melaka or Port Klang: from S$269
  • Couple, 2 nights, all in: about S$700 to S$840

Bottom line: Good value for a December break if you understand the one-way catch. Read my Star Voyager review.

Other Cruise Lines Sailing From Singapore

Princess Cruises bases Diamond Princess and Sapphire Princess here from November 2026 to March 2027 for 10- to 14-night Southeast Asia trips. Celebrity, Norwegian and MSC have occasional one-off sailings, often one-way to Hong Kong or Japan. These are longer, pricier trips for people with a week or two to spare, and they are usually sold in US dollars.

When to Book a Cruise From Singapore

Avoid school holidays if you can. Fares rise sharply in June and December. The 2027 school holidays are 13 to 21 March, 29 May to 27 June, 4 to 12 September and 20 November to 31 December.

Sail midweek. Tuesday and Wednesday departures are often cheaper than Friday ones on the short cruises.

Watch the October and November sales. In October 2026, Royal Caribbean offered free fares for third and fourth guests, Disney and Klook offered 50% off third and fourth guests on 2027 sailings, and Klook had a S$100 Royal Caribbean code.

Compare Klook with the cruise line’s own site. On 23 October 2026, Klook was cheaper for some Disney and Star Voyager dates, while Royal Caribbean’s own site had a lower three-night lead fare and onboard credit. Price the same date in both places.

Do You Need a Passport for a Cruise to Nowhere?

Yes. Every cruise from Singapore, including cruises to nowhere, needs a passport, because you leave and re-enter Singapore through immigration.

The rules differ slightly:

  • Disney Adventure: valid for six months beyond the end of the sailing, for every guest, including babies.
  • Royal Caribbean: six months for sailings with ports. Only an unexpired passport for cruises with no port calls.
  • Star Voyager: six months beyond the end of the cruise, even on high-seas sailings.

Some nationalities also need a multiple-entry Singapore visa. Check before you book.

How to Choose the Right Cruise From Singapore

If you have kids under 12 and a Disney fan in the house → Disney Adventure.

If you want to wake up somewhere new → Navigator of the Seas, on a Penang and Phuket sailing.

If you want the cheapest weekend at sea → Genting Dream at any time, or Star Voyager from late November to early January.

If you are heading to KL anyway → Star Voyager’s one-night, one-way sailing to Port Klang.

If you want Quantum’s North Star and RipCord → wait for 25 October 2027.

If you only have an evening, not a weekend → read my guide to boat trips around Singapore, from S$25 river cruises to tall-ship dinners.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the cheapest cruise from Singapore?

Star Voyager’s one-night, one-way sailing to Port Klang starts from S$49, but you must pay your own way home. For a round trip, two-night Genting Dream and Star Voyager cruises start from about S$172 to S$269 per person, before gratuities.

Is Quantum of the Seas sailing from Singapore in 2026?

No. Quantum is in Brisbane for the 2026–27 season and returns to Singapore on 25 October 2027. Royal Caribbean’s Navigator of the Seas sails from Singapore in the meantime, from 29 October 2026.

Which cruise from Singapore is best for families?

Disney Adventure for children aged three to 12 who love Disney, because its kids’ clubs and theming are unmatched. Royal Caribbean’s Navigator for families who want port stops and water slides at a lower fare.

Are cruise gratuities compulsory on Singapore cruises?

They are added automatically on all three ships reviewed here: US$16 per guest per night on Disney, US$18.50 per guest per day on Royal Caribbean and S$27 per guest per night on Star Voyager. You can ask guest services to adjust them, but plan on paying them.

What is a cruise to nowhere?

A cruise that leaves Singapore and returns without stopping at any port. You spend every day at sea using the ship’s pools, shows and restaurants. Every Disney Adventure sailing in 2026 is a cruise to nowhere, and Royal Caribbean and Star Voyager run some too.

Which cruise terminal does my ship leave from?

Disney Adventure, Royal Caribbean and Genting Dream leave from Marina Bay Cruise Centre, near Marina South Pier MRT. Star Voyager leaves from the Singapore Cruise Centre at HarbourFront, above HarbourFront MRT.

Final Verdict

  • Disney Adventure — the best cruise from Singapore for families with young kids.
  • Navigator of the Seas — the best big ship for ports, available now until October 2027.
  • Genting Dream — the year-round budget pick.
  • Star Voyager — cheap year-end cruises from HarbourFront, with a one-way catch.

Start small if you have never cruised. A two-night sailing tells you whether you like life at sea before you spend S$3,000 on a family trip.
