Dinner cruise Singapore banner with tall ship at sunset, city skyline and dinner plate

Best Dinner Cruises in Singapore (2026): Real Prices Compared

A dinner cruise in Singapore can cost S$125 for two or S$590 for two. Both leave around sunset. Both sail past the Southern Islands and come back to city lights.

The difference is everything in between. One has a sit-down four-course dinner on a tall ship. The other hands you food on an open-deck ferry with no tables. A third option skips dinner on board entirely and feeds you at a marina afterwards.

Most guides quote the headline price and stop there. That misses the service charge and GST, which add almost 20% on the most popular cruise. It also misses the refund rules, which range from “full refund three days out” to “no refund, ever”.

I went through the operators’ own pages, the Klook listings and hundreds of guest reviews for every sunset and dinner cruise you can book today. Here are the best dinner cruises in Singapore in 2026, priced the way you will actually pay.

What to Look For in a Dinner Cruise

The real price per person. Some prices include service charge and GST, others add “++” at the end. On a S$245 ticket, that is another S$48.

Whether dinner is a meal or a snack. A plated dinner at a table is a different night from canapés eaten standing up.

Time on the water. Two and a half hours of sailing feels unhurried. Forty-five minutes is a boat ride.

Where it leaves from. Marina South Pier is next to an MRT station. Resorts World Sentosa and Sentosa Cove take longer to reach without a car.

Refunds and weather. Evening storms are common from October to January. Know what happens to your ticket before you pay.

Seasickness risk. Smaller and open-deck boats move more. If anyone in your group gets queasy, that matters more than the menu.

1. Royal Albatross Sunset Dinner Cruise — Best for Special Occasions

→ Check Royal Albatross dates and prices on Klook

The Royal Albatross is a 47-metre tall ship berthed at Resorts World Sentosa. It is the cruise most people picture when they think “dinner cruise in Singapore”, and it is the one people book for proposals.

The standard Sunset Dinner Cruise sails for about two and a half hours on Friday at 7pm and on Saturday and Sunday at 6pm. You get a four-course dinner (an Indian menu is available if you ask three days ahead), free-flow soft drinks and live music. When the timing works, you pass Sentosa’s Wings of Time fireworks on the way back.

The price that matters is S$293.79 per person. The operator lists the cruise at S$245++. Add 10% service charge and 9% GST and you get S$293.76. Klook’s price is the all-in figure, plus a Klook-only mocktail on arrival. For two, budget about S$588.

There is also a seven-course Signature cruise at S$288++ (about S$345 all in) with one premium drink. On selected Wednesdays and Thursdays, the City Lights buffet cruise includes free-flow wine and beer. If you drink, that weekday sail is the better value.

What the Royal Albatross is great at:

  • The setting is unmatched in Singapore. A tall ship with sails up at sunset photographs better than any ferry.
  • It runs proper occasion packages, with proposal and anniversary packages starting from about S$610 per couple.
  • Kids are welcome. Children aged four to 12 pay S$125++ and get their own dinner.
  • Some sails are dog-friendly, for S$30++ to S$60++ per dog depending on size.

Where it falls short:

  • The food does not match the price. Klook reviewers rate it 4.6 out of 5 overall, but value scores lowest at 4.0, with repeated comments about small portions, lukewarm dishes and long gaps between courses.
  • Tickets are non-refundable. You can change the date or transfer the ticket within six months, but you cannot get your money back.
  • Guests regularly say the sails were not fully up for much of the trip.
  • Shoes come off on board. Plan your outfit around bare feet, not heels.

Pricing (checked 23 October 2026):

  • Sunset Dinner Cruise, adult or junior (13–17): S$245++ (S$293.79 on Klook)
  • Sunset Dinner Cruise, child (4–12): S$125++ (about S$150)
  • Signature seven-course cruise: S$288++ (about S$345)
  • Wine pairing add-on: S$60++ for four courses, S$150++ for seven

Bottom line: Book it for the occasion, not the food. If the night is about a proposal, an anniversary or a parent’s birthday, the tall ship delivers. If you just want a good dinner with a view, you will eat better on land for less.

2. Southern Straits Sunset Dinner Cruise — Best Budget Pick

→ Check Southern Straits cruise dates on Klook

This is the cheapest sunset dinner cruise in Singapore. It leaves Marina South Pier at 6.45pm and loops past the Sisters’, St John’s, Kusu and Lazarus islands before coming back to the CBD skyline after dark. You are back on land by 8.45pm.

Klook does not name the operator. The address, route and menu match the Marina South Ferries sunset dinner cruise, which sells the same trip for S$68 per person or S$132 per couple. Klook’s price of S$62.40 per person makes it S$124.80 for two, so Klook is the cheaper way to book.

Know what “dinner” means here. The menu is a light, halal-certified set served in courses you hold in your hand. There are no tables. You can bring your own food, which tells you the meal is part of the trip, not the point of it.

What the Southern Straits cruise is great at:

  • The price. Two hours on the water at sunset for about S$62 is hard to beat.
  • Marina South Pier is beside Marina South Pier MRT station on the North-South Line, so getting there is easy.
  • The food is halal-certified, which makes it simple for mixed groups.
  • One booking takes up to 30 people, so it works for a casual team outing.

Where it falls short:

  • The open-deck ferry rocks. Reviewers mention seasick guests who could not eat. The operator itself suggests taking travel-sickness tablets an hour before.
  • No tables, no commentary and quiet music. It is a boat ride with snacks, not a dinner date.
  • Children aged two and up pay the adult price, so a family of four still pays about S$250.
  • The deck is exposed, so an evening storm will soak you.

Pricing (checked 23 October 2026):

  • Klook: S$62.40 per person
  • Direct: S$68 per person or S$132 per couple, under-twos free
  • Direct cancellation terms: full refund three or more days ahead, 50% one to two days ahead, none within 24 hours, and a reschedule or full refund if weather cancels the sail

Bottom line: Pick this if you want the sunset and skyline without the tall-ship price, and you are fine eating standing up. Eat a proper meal before or after.

3. YachtCruiseSG Speedboat Cruise & Marina Dine — Best Short Combo

→ Check YachtCruiseSG Marina Dine on Klook

This one splits the night in two. You start with a 45-minute guided speedboat ride around the Southern Islands from Sentosa Cove, with commentary but no stops. Then you sit down for one main course and one drink at the members-only ONE°15 Marina club.

The mains are casual: fish and chips, a wagyu burger, nasi goreng, pizza, carbonara, claypot chicken rice or a salmon bowl. Coffee, tea or iced lemon tea comes with it. The whole thing runs about two hours.

You meet at the standee on Level 2 of the Sentosa Cove Arrival Plaza, just past the security post.

What the YachtCruiseSG combo is great at:

  • You get a look inside ONE°15 Marina without a membership.
  • A speedboat is quicker and more fun than a ferry for a short ride.
  • It sits in the middle on price, at S$119 per person.
  • The guide gives you context on the islands, which the budget cruise does not.

Where it falls short:

  • Only 45 minutes on the water, and you never land.
  • No refunds and no rescheduling. On Pelago, the same product says you must still show up in bad weather and reschedule within a month.
  • Reviews are split. Klook shows 4.7 out of 5 from 18 reviews, but Pelago shows 3.3 out of 5 from eight, with complaints of cold, bland and overpriced food.
  • Minimum two people, no child discount and no celebrations on board.

Pricing (checked 23 October 2026):

  • S$119 per person on Klook, GST included, minimum two people
  • Couple total: S$238

Bottom line: A fair pick if you are already on Sentosa and want a short boat ride with a casual meal. It is not a dinner cruise in the classic sense, and the strict terms make it risky in monsoon season.

What a Dinner Cruise Really Costs for Two

For a family of two adults and two children aged four to 12, the Royal Albatross Sunset cruise comes to about S$887 with charges. The Southern Straits cruise comes to about S$250, because children pay the adult price.

Hidden Costs to Know About

The “++” on the Royal Albatross. Service charge and GST add 19.9% to the listed price. Klook shows the all-in figure, which is why it looks higher than the operator’s site.

Drinks. Only soft drinks are free on the Sunset Dinner Cruise. Wine pairing is another S$60++ per person.

Getting to Sentosa. Taxis to Resorts World Sentosa or Sentosa Cove cost more than the MRT to Marina South Pier, and taxis entering Sentosa may add an entry charge.

Card fees. Pay with a card that earns miles or cashback on Klook. See my best travel credit cards in Singapore for which ones code Klook spend well.

Private Yacht Charters: When They Beat a Ticket

For groups of 10 or more, a private charter can cost about the same per head as the Royal Albatross, with the boat to yourselves.

Guides from 2025 list four-hour weekday charters from Keppel Bay, Sentosa Cove and ONE°15 Marina at roughly S$1,000 to S$3,000 for six to 20 people. Weekend surcharges of 20% or more are common, and food is usually extra. A 12-person catamaran at about S$1,400 works out to roughly S$116 each before food.

Those prices are from Seth Lui (April 2025) and HoneyKids (November 2025), so get a fresh quote. For two people, a ticketed cruise is always cheaper.

How to Choose the Right Dinner Cruise

If you are proposing or celebrating a milestone → Royal Albatross. Book an occasion package so the crew knows.

If you want the sunset view for the least money → Southern Straits. Eat properly before you board.

If you are already on Sentosa and want something short → YachtCruiseSG Marina Dine.

If you drink and want value → the Royal Albatross City Lights buffet on a weekday, with free-flow wine and beer.

If anyone in your group gets seasick → Royal Albatross. A 47-metre ship is steadier than an open ferry or a speedboat. Still take a tablet in December and January.

If you are 10 or more people → get quotes for a private charter before you buy 10 tickets.

If you want a calmer, cheaper night on flat water → skip the sea and take a Singapore River cruise at dusk instead.

Best Time of Year for a Sunset Cruise

Sunset in Singapore falls around 7pm all year, so every cruise above is timed for it.

The weather is what changes. October and November bring afternoon and evening thunderstorms in the inter-monsoon period. December and January are the wet phase of the Northeast Monsoon, with windy spells and choppier water, according to the National Environment Agency. February to April usually gives the calmest seas and clearest sunsets.

If you book in the wet months, pick the cruise with the friendliest refund terms. That is the Southern Straits cruise booked direct, or the Royal Albatross, which at least lets you change the date.
