Kris+ Promo Code October 2026: S$5 Sign-Up and 8 mpd Birthday Bash

Kris+ is Singapore Airlines’ lifestyle app. You pay at partner shops and restaurants and earn KrisPay miles, which you can move to KrisFlyer or spend in the app.

New users get S$5, paid as 500 KrisPay miles, when they sign up with a referral code and make one qualifying payment. You may see 750 miles quoted elsewhere. That was the same S$5 under an older conversion rate, and the current terms say 500.

The bigger October deal is the Kris+ Birthday Bash: 8 miles per dollar at 70 partners until 31 October, with no cap. Pair it with the right card and it can reach 12 miles per dollar.

Kris+ Promo Code for New Users: S$5 in KrisPay Miles

Kris+’s referral terms say both you and the friend who referred you get 500 KrisPay miles. Kris+ spends KrisPay miles at 100 miles to S$1, so that is S$5.

The miles are credited after your first qualifying transaction, which is any one of:

• A payment of S$5 or more at a Kris+ partner, using Apple Pay or Google Pay in the app.
• A single top-up of at least 450 KrisPay miles from KrisFlyer or a partner points programme.

How to Claim the S$5

1. Open the referral link on your phone. SIA says the code fills itself in when you log in through a referral link.
2. Log in with your KrisFlyer number and password. If you don’t have KrisFlyer, create a free account first. Your Kris+ account is created at this first log-in.
3. Check the referral code shows T935169. Type it in if you installed from the app store.
4. Make one qualifying transaction: pay S$5 or more at a partner with Apple Pay or Google Pay, or top up 450 KrisPay miles in one go.
5. The 500 miles land in your Kris+ wallet. The terms say instantly, but allow a few days.

Who Doesn’t Get the S$5

• Anyone who has logged in to Kris+ before, even once, years ago.
• Anyone under 18.
• Anyone who skips the code at sign-up. There is no official way to add it later.
• Payments under S$5, or not made through Apple Pay or Google Pay in the app.

500 or 750 KrisPay Miles?

Both numbers mean S$5. SIA’s older referral page and some 2022 posts say 750 miles, from when 150 miles were worth S$1. The current terms, updated 1 July 2025, say 500 miles at the current 100 miles to S$1.

Referral miles are valid for 6 months, can only be spent in Kris+, and cannot be moved to KrisFlyer. Spend them at a partner rather than letting them expire.

Kris+ Birthday Bash: 8 mpd to 31 October

Through 31 October 2026, 70 Kris+ dining and retail partners earn 8 KrisPay miles per S$1, up from their usual 2 to 7. There is no cap and no registration.

• Stack it with a 4 mpd card for up to 12 miles per dollar in total.
• Vouchers bought in October from eligible partners earn 8 mpd at purchase, even if you use them later.
• KrisFlyer UOB earns 3 mpd on all Kris+ spend, with no cap.
• Don’t use Citi Rewards cards through Apple Pay or Google Pay on Kris+: mobile wallet payments are excluded and earn only 0.4 mpd.

The 21-Day Rule

KrisPay miles you earn must be transferred to KrisFlyer within 21 days. After that, they are stuck in KrisPay, worth 1 cent each and expiring after 6 months.

• October Mastercard Rebates: 1,000 KrisPay miles for one Mastercard payment of S$50 or more through Apple Pay or Google Pay in Kris+. One per user, limited redemptions. Chope payments are excluded.

Is Kris+ Worth It?

For anyone who collects KrisFlyer miles, yes. Kris+ adds 2 to 9 miles per dollar on top of your card at more than 1,900 partner outlets, and Birthday Bash makes October the best month of the year.

The S$5 sign-up reward is small but free. Use it at a partner within 6 months, because it can’t go to KrisFlyer.
