How to use Klook referral code 7DF4F: phone sign-up screen with code entered, coins and piggy bank

How to Use a Klook Referral Code in Singapore (2026): Step-by-Step Guide

Klook gives new users a S$5 promo code for signing up through a referral. It is one of the easiest sign-up rewards in Singapore — no deposit, no card, no spending target.

It is also easy to lose. Klook recognises a referral through its own invite link. Create an account on klook.com or in the app first, then go looking for somewhere to type a code, and the S$5 never appears.

The second surprise comes at checkout. The S$5 code is not applied for you. It sits in your account until you select it on the payment page — and on some bookings a bank card code will save you more.

This guide walks through the exact order to sign up with the DLCuration Klook referral code 7DF4F, where to find the promo code afterwards and how to make sure it comes off your first booking.

Why Most People Use a Klook Referral Code Wrong

Most people treat a referral code as something you enter at checkout. Klook treats the referral as part of how your account is created.

Here are the three mistakes I see most often:

  • Registering first. People create an account while browsing for tickets, then search “how to enter Klook referral code”. By then the account exists without the referral, and there is no field to add it later.
  • Assuming the S$5 applies itself. It does not. You select the promo code on the payment page, under Discounts.
  • Opening a second account. If you already have a Klook account, signing up again with another email does not qualify. Klook’s Terms of Use treat multiple accounts as a violation, and coupons obtained that way can be forfeited.

There is also a refund trap. A Klook promo code is one-time use. If you use it and then cancel the booking, the code is not returned.

The principle the whole process is built on: open the invite link before you register, then select the S$5 code yourself on a booking you are sure about.

What You Need Before You Start

Set aside about five minutes to sign up. Have these ready:

  • The Klook invite link. Open it from the DLCuration Klook page or directly as the Klook referral invitation. It carries code 7DF4F.
  • A Google, Apple or email login. Klook lets you register with any of the three. Use an email address you check, because Klook may send promo codes there.
  • The Klook app. The invite page tells new users to use the promo code in the Klook app, so install it on your phone.
  • A booking in mind. An attraction ticket, a tour, airport transfer or a hotel. The S$5 is most useful on something you were going to book anyway.

You are not eligible if you have ever had a Klook account. Creating a Klook account costs nothing.

The Full Process: Step by Step

Open the referral link on your phone, before you register on Klook anywhere else.

→ Open the Klook referral invitation

The invite page should show the S$5 offer for new users. That is how you know code 7DF4F has been picked up.

What you end up with: Klook’s invite page, with the referral attached.

Step 2 — Sign Up From the Invite Page (2 minutes)

Register from the page the link opened, using Google, Apple or email. If Klook asks for a referral or invite code at any point, enter 7DF4F.

When the page offers Go to app, tap it so you continue in the Klook app.

What you end up with: a new Klook account linked to the referral.

Step 3 — Find the S$5 Promo Code in Your Account (1 minute)

In the Klook app, go to Account, then Promo codes. The S$5 code should be listed there. Check your email inbox too.

Tap the code to read its terms. Note three things: any minimum spend, the expiry date and which bookings it applies to.

If a code has been sent to you as text instead, enter it under Promo codes and tap Redeem to add it to your account.

What you end up with: the S$5 code in your account, and its conditions in front of you.

Step 4 — Choose a Booking That Fits the Code (5 minutes)

Pick an activity, attraction or other booking that meets the code’s minimum spend and is covered by its terms. Popular first bookings from Singapore include Universal Studios Singapore, the Singapore Cable Car and day tours on overseas trips.

Check the listing’s cancellation policy before you pay. Policies differ from one activity to the next, and the promo code is not returned if you cancel.

What you end up with: a booking you are sure about, ready for checkout.

Step 5 — Apply the S$5 at Payment (1 minute)

On the payment page, find the Discounts section and choose Use promo code. Select the S$5 code.

Check the Subtotal shows S$5 off before you confirm. If it does not, the booking may not meet the code’s terms — go back to Step 4.

What you end up with: S$5 off your first Klook booking.

Step 6 — Compare It With This Month’s Bank Codes (1 minute)

Before paying, look at Klook’s current card promotions. In October 2026, Klook Singapore lists S$10 off with OCBC Visa (minimum spend S$120) and 50% off with DBS/POSB cards on Saturdays (minimum spend S$100, capped at S$50).

Klook does not say publicly whether the referral code stacks with a bank code. If the payment page only lets you choose one, use whichever saves more. On a larger booking, keep the S$5 for a smaller one later — as long as it has not expired.

What you end up with: the biggest discount available on this booking.

Is the Klook Referral Worth It? Three Realistic Examples

S$5 is small, but it costs nothing and comes off a booking straight away. Here is how it works out for three typical Klook users.

The USS weekend. You are buying Universal Studios Singapore tickets for the family. The S$5 comes straight off the first booking. On a Saturday, though, a DBS/POSB card code may save far more, so compare at payment.

The overseas trip. You are planning a week in Japan and booking a day tour, a rail pass and an airport transfer on Klook. Use the S$5 on whichever booking meets its minimum spend, and bank codes on the others.

The one-off ticket. You only need a S$20 attraction ticket. If the code’s minimum spend is higher, it will not apply. Keep it for a later booking and check the expiry date.

In every case, the S$5 is a bonus on a booking you were going to make. It is never a reason to book something you would not otherwise buy.

What the Referral Code Cannot Do

It cannot be added to an existing account. If you registered without the invite link, the account is not linked to the referral.

It cannot be reused. A Klook promo code is one-time use and is not returned after a cancellation or refund.

It cannot be transferred. Klook coupons cannot be given, sold or pooled with someone else’s account.

It does not override the code’s terms. If a booking is below the minimum spend or outside the eligible categories, the S$5 will not apply.

Is Klook Safe? What the Code Does Not Change

Using a referral code has no effect on your bookings or your account. Klook has operated since 2014, and under its Terms of Use, bookings paid in Singapore dollars are transacted with Klook Travel Technology Pte Ltd.

The thing to check on every booking is the cancellation policy. Each activity sets its own, and the S$5 code is not returned if you cancel.

Tips to Get the Most From the Klook Referral

Sign up on your phone, in the app. The invite page directs new users to the Klook app, so finishing there avoids any mismatch between the website and the app.

Screenshot the invite page. A screenshot of the page showing the S$5 offer is your evidence if the code does not appear.

Read the code’s expiry the day you sign up. If you have no booking planned before it expires, wait and sign up closer to your trip.

Save the S$5 for a small booking. On a big booking, a percentage-off bank code usually saves more. A flat S$5 counts for more on a smaller one.

Use Klook Rewards too. Klook’s rewards programme pays KlookCash on completed bookings where it is available, at 100 KlookCash to US$1 off a later booking.

What If You Already Have a Klook Account?

You are not eligible for the new-user S$5. Opening a second account with another email address breaks Klook’s Terms of Use.

You can share your own referral code instead. In the Klook app, look for the invite or refer-a-friend option. Klook’s help centre says you get a promo code when a friend signs up through your link and completes a booking. It arrives within 24 hours of the booking, or after the activity is redeemed.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I enter a Klook referral code?

The simplest way is not to type it at all. Open the Klook invite link, which carries the code, and sign up from the page it opens. If Klook asks for a referral code during registration, enter 7DF4F.

Can I use a Klook referral code if I already have an account?

No. The S$5 is for first-time Klook users, and the referral must be attached when the account is created. Klook’s Terms of Use treat holding more than one account as a violation.

Where do I find my Klook promo code after signing up?

In the Klook app, under Account, then Promo codes. Klook may also send it to the email address you registered with. Select it on the payment page under Discounts when you book.

Is there a minimum spend on the Klook S$5 promo code?

Klook does not publish one on its public pages. The code’s own terms, including any minimum spend and expiry date, are shown against it in your account. Check them before you plan a booking around it.

Can I combine the Klook referral code with a bank promo code?

Klook does not say publicly. If the payment page lets you select only one code, compare the two and use the larger saving. Bank codes are often worth more on bigger bookings.

What happens to the S$5 if I cancel my Klook booking?

It is not returned. Klook promo codes are one-time use, so once the code has been applied to a booking it is used up, even if you cancel. Use it on a booking you are sure about.

Final Thoughts

The Klook referral reward is one of the easiest in Singapore to collect. There is no deposit and no spending target — just S$5 off your first booking.

The whole thing comes down to order: open the invite link, sign up from it, find the code under Promo codes and select it at payment. Then compare it with the month’s bank codes so you use whichever saves more.

Start with the link. Everything else follows from getting that one step right.
